Joseph Fazalare, M.D.

Dr. Fazalare is a native of Weirton, WV and earned his medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown, WV. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Hamot Medical Center in Erie, PA. He then went on to complete a fellowship in orthopedic surgery Sports Medicine at The Ohio State University in Columbus OH.
He specializes and provides expertise in Pediatric and adult athletic related injuries and any issues that can be taken care of with Arthroscopy or minimally invasive camera surgery. However his practice is not limited to this. He has a special interest in ACL reconstruction surgery, meniscus surgery as well as rotator cuff problems and shoulder issues. He will also see patients with problems of the various other joints in the body.
He is board-certified in Orthopedic surgery, with a certificate of added qualification in Sports Medicine. He is a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.
